Exploring Southern Electronic Music

Admittedly, since launching this site, we haven’t spent much time covering southern electronic music. So, we invited two exceptional curators—Garrett (aka “Holly Waxwing”) and Isabel of Noumenal Loom and We Time Audio House—to develop a playlist highlighting unique and expansive electronic music with connections to the South.

Here are a few words from Isabel and Garrett: “Here’s a little sampling of our favorite electronic-adjacent music from artists who are based, were born or spent much of their life in the Southern US. We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with quite a few of them over the years :,} We hope you enjoy!”

Some of the featured artists include Prefuse 73, Emotional Indulgence, Haha Mart, Blake Wimberly, and, of course, our lovely curators.
